Here is my current truck on this Tuesday. Company vehicle, 2014 Ram 1500 Outdoorsman. 3.6, 8 speed auto, 2wd. Cloth seats, but otherwise pretty loaded. I like it. A lot.

I have owned a couple of Dodge trucks in the past. I have a friend who bought a 2008 3500 who has to drive 22 miles to pavement. Not really bad roads for the most part. He has had so many wear issues with that thing. I had front wheel bearing issues and related suspension problems with my Dodge trucks, as he has. His list goes on and is a lot longer. His 3 1980's Jeep Cherokees just keep plugging along.

Yeah, they did have issues in those models. They have been corrected. This one will only be mine for 30k max, so I'll likely never see any issues with it.

Glad to hear that. Probably won't make me buy another for a while. I usually keep mine till 200,000 miles. But I take really good care of my vehicles and I travel around the state a bunch.
